A standard feature on our larger packs, the adjustable Sternum Strap is also a great addition to the Stuff Pack or Summit Pack. The strap system features adjustable 3/4" webbing, self-tensioning elastic for comfort and side release buckles with a whistle for safety.

Good quality, lightweight, could use a strap keeper
The quality is great, the clip and strap seem well made and ready for outdoor trips. They are narrow enough to fits most packs but wide enough to feel sturdy. These were more expensive than most sternum straps so I would have expected them to have a strap keeper so the excess material doesn't hang down.
A bit to much elastic
Would like to see this with less elastic for more adjustability
Good quality replacement, but the thing has issues as is…
Big. The webbing and buckle are more substantial than on many similar bags, with little added utility that I can see. The elasticated section is rather long, making it difficult to cinch down for the smaller-chested. Nicely made though.
