Happy I bought a midi 1
Verdict on the Hyperlite Midi 1. Quick to put up. Noisy in the rain (like rain on plastic bag), lots of room. Head touched the roof at the ends when sleeping but that could be fixed with a simple additional guy and pitching it better (the center pole extended more which would have given more space and better ventilation). Condensation no better or worse than a normal tent. Found it a bit odd with the center pole touching you back and having to negotiate around to get in and out which is a bit tough when crampy after a long technical run in. Also floor slippy on mat so it tends to slide a lot. Great that my tent weighs less than my sleeping bag. PS used hyperlite centre pole and paired with mSR carbon core stakes and added extra guy from above door
This is so good!
It's as lightweight as expected and packs compactly. It's comfortable to live in, and has many ingenious features that make it easy to use.
And I love the design!
