Product Reviews and Questions
Bon sacs
Most of what I wanted in a daypack
Roomier than 17L size suggests. Took on a trip out of the country as my airplane personal item and daily daypack and it was very roomy. The DCF material also gave me confidence things would stay dry on a boat if water ended up on the floor of the boat. The single interior zipper pocket needs some help though. A key ring clip, slightly bigger space, and easier to access would be nice. The water bottle pockets are large but work well to store a variety of things, not just water bottles. Material was not noisy (“crinkly sounding”) as I had feared. Coupled with the HMG fanny pack I’ve been using for a few years and the pouch I bought several years ago to attach to my other pack’s shoulder strap (but never used til now) I was kitted out! Would be nice if there were hip belt pouches, but not a big deal for a daypack. The shoulder straps and hip belt were comfortable and effective. This is a VERY comfortable pack.
Great product... until it breaks
I know all products have a shelf life but after 2 year the zipper broke, and for something I paid so much for its a bit disheartening
Used for Nepal Gokyo & Renjo La trek
Have had the Daybreak since 2021, use all the time, weekend day hikes, and for a 17 day trek last year to the Mount Everest region of Nepal. I had a porter, but used the daybreak for other stuff, layers, windbreaker, water and camera gear. I'm a photographer, and used the Camera Pod with the Daybreak for photogrpahy the whole trek. Great daypack.
