Fantastic Cord
I use this cord for general purpose camping applications. It is super strong yet very light. It's great for securing tarps.

Bears don't like it
It’s lightweight In your pack all day it doesn’t absorb water and it’s easy to do and undo the knots with this cord. One things for sure if it makes hanging your food bag easier bears don’t like it.

Thin, strong
I haven't put it to any hard tests but the line is light, definitely strong and grips onto itself well. Easy to tie down and easier to carry!

Good gear, ridiculous handling fees at the border
Dear fellow Canucks:
Hyperlite products - great. Shipping and BORDER (FEDEX) fees - make the great Hyperlite products NOT WORTH ordering ONLINE.
Example: 2.8 UHMWPE core guy line ($20 USD). Shipping ($33.51). I thought this was high, but ok, maybe they charge a standard rate for any product.
AND THEN…..I got the bill from FEDEX. $33 COD for delivery!!!! Insane. Over $60 !!! to buy a $20 rope.
Canadians: use Amazon, or an American retail store like REI, etc. I spend so much in shipping and customs, I have no money to buy any more products from the home website. Sorry Hyperlite - this was a ridiculous turn-off from a new customer. Could not recommend.
